Centinela Studio is an interior design and turnkey furnishing studio based in San Miguel de Allende. The practice draws on seven years of professional experience in architecture and interior design for luxury residences and hospitality. We bring that background to homes for owners living locally or abroad, coordinating design, furnishings and installation within an agreed scope.
Our residential work starts with how you want to live: the rooms you use, the pieces you value and the way the home should feel on arrival. An architectural perspective connects those choices to the proportions, light and materials of the property.

At Centinela, this perspective guides the interior direction and the way furnishings, lighting and finishes are coordinated. Each home receives its own scope; a complete residential interior and a focused furniture commission are not treated as the same project.
How we work
Architecture before decoration
We start with how the rooms work: proportion, circulation, natural light and the relationship between the existing architecture and the interior. Furniture and materials follow that direction rather than standing apart from it.
Local craft, clear operation
We coordinate design, sourcing and installation locally in San Miguel, with communication in English and Spanish. Selections, responsibilities and approvals are defined for the project, including work with Mexican materials and workshops where appropriate.
Independent project supervision
When renovation supervision is included, you contract directly with your builder. We provide the agreed design-focused visits, reporting and coordination; construction, engineering and required technical approvals remain with the responsible professionals.
